My legs are driving me nuts. Im 18 years old and am 6'5 and my legs are killing me. They feel like I just ran a marathon. Its not really a bad pain or a numb feeling, its more like a restless feeling. Its very hard to explain. Could these be growing pain cause I have grown over an inch in the past few months and my father was 6'7? Or is this something more serious like diabetes? Its been happening for about a week. Please help.

Symptoms
The main symptom of restless legs syndrome is an irresistible urge to move your legs because of uncomfortable and sometimes painful sensations deep within your legs. Some people describe the sensations as aching, creeping, crawling, or prickling. Symptoms usually begin about 15 minutes after you lie down to sleep or to relax, or when you have not moved for long periods, such as when traveling in a car or airplane. Symptoms that occur frequently can result in significant sleep loss, fatigue, and problems with daytime functioning.

Once they are asleep, most people also have involuntary or jerking leg movements called periodic limb movements. These movements can interrupt your sleep, which adds to problems with fatigue. Periodic limb movements may also occur during the day, although most people move around once their legs begin to bother them. As a result, the periodic limb movements that people have when they are awake may not be noticed except under unusual circumstances.

Restless legs syndrome and periodic limb movements also often disturb the sleep of a bed partner. This can cause fatigue for both people and strain the relationship.

Symptoms may start during infancy or any time during your life. At first, your symptoms may be mild and occur only once in awhile. Typically, symptoms get worse with age.

Here is a link for the Restless legs syndrome support group:

The Restless Legs Syndrome Foundation is a non-profit organization which provides the latest information about restless legs syndrome (RLS). The three goals of the Foundation are to increase awareness, improve treatments, and through research, find a cure for RLS, a condition which severely affects the lives of millions of individuals.

it would seem likely to me if you are growing this rapidly it could well be a temporary nerve condition -- as i understand the nerve network does not grow or stretch as quickly as the rest of the body of the body tissues can.
you might benefit from some gentle stretching of the hamstrings and hips.
i have had restless legs in the condition of over-stretching or exercise in the past.
as well is is possible that the lower spine/pelvis union has become tense or torqued in some minor way that is stimulating the nerves into the legs. I have known some people who have less than favorable lower back posture, usually over extended, that leaves them with a restless leg condition - neither painful or numb but simply feeling like the muscles or the legs need to move or flex to find ease.
some ideas for you to check.
blessings
check you diet, you are growing so fast, are you eating accordingly?
are you causing you body (liver esp.) stress eating to dense or processed foods?
'nuf minerals?

Feeling like ran a marathon
It's more like a restless feeling...

Don't know what it might be but if it would confort you my limb extremities like my feet, my hands, my skull, my tongue are attacked by a strange uneasiness.

It's not a burning, not a dumminess, not a scratching feeling yet sometimes would look like such sensations and it's very strange.

It happens when I'm sat down, when I lay on bed, when I am standing up. On places like where I work, where I eat and at home.

It lasts 20 minutes.

No doctor dealing with general or specific problems has diagnosed it.

It could be restless leg syndrome. Does it feel creepy like bugs crawling inside the leg and you have to keep the legs moving. Is it worse when you are quiet and at night? Check it out as webmd or ask your doctor if it gets worse.

could be growing pains, guys usually grow until they are around 25 on average of course. However if the location is in the lower leg and you do running or other strenous activities, you can have shin splints and it seems to be a searing kind of pain especially when cold (muscles not warm and pliable)

I would go to your physician immediately to see what the problem is. It could be just growing pains or it could be Restless Leg Syndrome, which they do have medication for.

It could be growing pains; but the wisest thing to do is to check this out with your doctor to make sure that there's nothing unusual going on.

It could be growing pain if it's in the thigh/knee area. Go see a doctor asap, that would be your best choice. Good luck.
