A few days ago i asked a question about having knots under my arm and someone from this web site said it sound like my body is fighting something. So I would like to know what's something that it could be fighting off that would be the reason for me to have knots under my arm? See at first I was thinking that maybe it was because of my milk get ready to come in. see i'am just one month away from having my baby, the longer the knots are there the more I get scared.

By far, the most common cause of lymph node enlargement is infection. Infections that commonly cause swollen lymph nodes include mononucleosis, German measles, tuberculosis, mumps, ear infection, tonsillitis, abscessed or impacted tooth, gingivitis (swelling of the gums), mouth sores, and sexually transmitted disease.

If you have swollen lymph nodes, the focus is on treating the underlying cause. Soreness in lymph glands usually disappears in a couple of days without treatment, but the nodes may not return to normal size for several weeks after the infection has cleared. Generally, if glands are painful, it is because they swell rapidly in the early stages of fighting an infection.

Since you are pregnant, you should definitely call your doctor, since he can help with find the cause.
