It actually means both "over" and "super" in German but in the pop culture it means just "super" as in "ubergeek" ( from the urban dicitonary)

The correct spelling is "über" and I guess most people know of it because of the term übermenschen.

I guess you can see that it is german for "over" or "above"
I use it for things that are nifty or obvious or just over the top ( :
like hes uberly gay. (lol)
or
I'm uberly hottt! haha
except I got a haircut (yes, all of them) and now my hair is short.
