Wegener could not propose a mechanism for continental drift that made sense. There are significant differences between his proposal and the theory of plate tectonics, which is today held to be correct.

Freedom is not just for the slaves, simply as slavery did not finish with the Civil War. Everyone struggles with freedom, even at present. Freedom is NOT a phrase to receive to only one tradition or interval in historical past. If I had been to put in writing approximately Freedom, I'd make it approximately inner freedom. I imply, I've learn in which slaves felt themselves to be loose, considering the fact that their hearts would now not be certain through human chains. I'd write how Freedom is higher than only a phrase or time interval.

although the theorey is basically the same alfered wagner didn't propose that the continents floated around on the mantle but that they drifted through rock, he also didn't propose a driving force, so when he said continents plough through rock moving around the earth people didn't believe him.
