Honestly? Probably like your spouse - let down. You really need to talk to your son about your feelings on the issue. He trusted you enough to ask the question and he probably had to build up the courage to do so AND I'm sure he didn't get the punch line, either. Poor kid is going to get beat up at school because he's going to repeat it and be misunderstood at school . . .
Be a responsible parent and whatever your true feelings are, share it with your son, a future adult in this world.

if i were a parent today
i would let my son or daughter know everything about sex because they could be having it whenever they want
it is better to tell them what can happen to them before it actually happens
1 out of 2 people who r sexually active have HPV
it is a serious case
u can't get rid of it

You think that's bad my 4 year old daughter likes girls and is very open about telling people that in fact while trick or treating last night she tried to pick up a 15 year old by telling her how beautiful she was .
