I got a Flying fox and he swims infront of the mirror like he's flirting with himself... is he vain or does he need a female friend????!!!!!

He needs a female, how nice to have a male who's so 'normal' aren't they all vain and flirty?

Flying Foxes can be aggressive towards their own species, so you are likely seeing a very stressful attack on himself. It would be best if you didn't subject it to that stress very often. Stress can weaken fishes' immune systems, making them more susceptible to disease.

EDIT: If you get him a female, he will likely just chase it to death. Flying Foxes are best kept without their own species.

Yes... mine too. He might be playing or trying to chase him away for territorial means

My dog barks at his reflection in the window as if he's barking to another dog. I guess recognizing one's reflection is a higher intellectual capacity that some animals just don't have.
