I was at my parents home in the south over Christmas and their dog started fighting with something in the wood pile. Of course it's dark and my dad and I go out and see what she was fighting with. I grabbed a flashlight, and I find a raccoon bigger than the dog. My mom is looking out the door and yells bring the dog in. This raccoon is experienced with dogs . It's stepping side to side like a a guy in a knife fight and the dog is faking it out with speed. they are locked eye to eye ignoring everything else, this will be to the death. I'm 4 feet away and I had to do something quick, or blossoms going to lock onto it I pick up a small piece of wood and tossed it beside the raccoon, who turned to look at the sound and I ran forward and grabbed the dog and I kept going , I feel something hot next to my leg and I ran like crazy. I had grabbed the dog by the hair and she's screaming at me. This raccoon now decides to leave but I dropped the dog and back she went , but luckily the raccoon is taking off now. I go back in the house and discover some bite marks on the heel of my shoe. that was the scariest thing i had ever been asked to do other than jokingly.

This sounds wierd...but there were a reason why it was scary. Some guy was trying to get me to come close to this fence to take his garbage wrapper. I told him to just push it through the fence and he screamed that he would not and I would have to come close to get it. (I was about 11 or 12.) I'm not sure what he would have done to me if I had come close to the fence...I didn't want to find out...I started to run.

Abseil down the side of a reservoir for charity, I did it as much as I am scared of heights, not sure if I would do it again.

When I was asked to be a single parent for my three sons. Trust me. That's traumatic. I sucked it up and did it some how. Was not easy.
