Are you a black woman dating or married to a white man?

I am a black woman married to a white man. I can count on one hand the number of couples I have seen in which the woman is black and the man is white.

So I am curious on how many people on yahoo answers are in a black woman/white male relationship.

Plus, are there any groups that cater to the black woman/white male relationships.

Hi. I'm a white woman with a black man. But we have a 22-year-old daughter who has chosen to be with someone white. She is a member of YA, but doesn't participate a whole lot. She has a life, she tells me!

After all, menbelive it is THIER world. And since men tend to be the most racist ones, having a world full of diverse people just wont do. I mean... men love war so much, with people looking different, they wouldn't know who to blow up or not. We women are NOT your property. But I digress. I'll put ANY amount of money on the bet that you were raised in "da hood" or at least in some gawd awful church who's mindset is still in the 1930's and their religious teachings echo the Dark Ages. And you are right. Right about black men being spiritual. I was not raised religious, so why in Sam Hill would I want with some religious, spiritual black dude. And some black Christian and some Muslim duded are as hypocritical as they come. Some of ya'll can get as bad as those guys off The Color Purple. The world is changing and soon, people with your mindset will be pretty hard to find. People say one person cant change the world. Not ture. It only takes one person to steer mankind in an enlightened direction for the better. It has happened before. And by the way, by the WAY. Science proves that there is NO such thing as race. (gasp) YOu say it isn't so? Well it is. Maybe you should whip your head out of that cute wittle Bible and read a real book for once. There would be so much info your head would implode. We humans are only 99.5% different when compared to other animals. An Italian and an Australian can make another human. And in the end, that human ensures our survival for another day. And that's REALLY all that matters. If humans EVER went through a population crisis where there were only a few humans left on the planet, folks like you would drop the race card like a molten potato and try and make more humans.

I have dated white men and I was married to one. Both my kids are biracial. My social groups have been varied. Most of my good friends are black and a lot of them wouldn't date white men.

I remember once at The Taste of Chicago there was a group I saw of about 6 or so couples and they were all white males and black females. Looking on the internet for a group is possible. I myself never looked for a group I just hung out with whoever was cool.

where i live, you send tons of interracial couples but the man is mostly black.
i almost do a double take when i see a couple like mine!!!

i don't know any groups that cater to us, but i'll be looking now!

They are all over the place, where i live ( The Greater Toronto Area, in Ontario, Canada)

White Guys mostly go for darker skinned black women (just my observation) and some black guys tend to go for light skinned black women; hence the reason more black women are into white men (as white men do not have the color complex compared to some black guys)

I'm not. Although every year I seem to see more white men or non-black men with black women. I wonder why there isn't as m any interracial couples with black women, than there is with black men in an interracial relationship.

My mother is black and my dad is white. My mom happens to date mostly white men. I do double takes myself when I see a black woman and a white man, it's so rare.

I have better experience seeing such couples, I think:
I am a black woman dating a white guy. My aunt is married to an Irish guy but they live in London. I have 4 black girlfriends and they are all with white guys (one couple is married, one couple is engaged and the other two are in long term relationships). I went to a halloween event just lastnight and I saw two white guys with black women there. I actually see a lot of black women/white guy couples here in my state so yeah........

As far as groups, there are quite a few on the internet you can join. Just do an engine search. Personally, I dont feel like I need a group because I have my friends to relate to. I am lucky to have that :-)

so far in my life Ive dated three white men. if theres groups for sex addicts there has to be a group for mixed relationships.

I am not, but I think it is acceptable, because I have many friends on interracialmatch.com, and most of them form such a kind of family. And the babies in their families are very beautiful.
