I was just talking to my aunt about planning a trip to Puerto Rico and she said that her friend, a US citizen, told her she had to get a passport to go to PR 2 months ago. She said the same thing about going to Alaska. That was just strange.

who said that? I know don't need one for PR. ( i just went there this past weekend) Alaska is a US state so why would an american citizen need a passport to go there? I think your info is wrong.
