so you all ready know. What is this a test? There are historical types like your example. There are style types. There are purpose types, the problem is that people want to pigeon-hole everything, divided it up into its defineable parts, like plays , there are different kinds, someone notes, so let's sort them out that way. And you know what? There are always some that do not fit in any category or seem to fit in two categories, so a new category is made to suit the odd play and then another and another. The only logical approach to sorting plays into caregories is to forget it, and just say there are plays.
