steel mill. at the time on weekly check coud pay almost all of my bills.

My college jobs were (I had three at once) ...work at a sub shop, refill vending machines, and in the am deliver newspapers. The military was the first job I had that supported me enough to get me out of my parents house.

I was a bit of a fighter, so my best bud and I got jobs as undercover loss prevention agents at kmart, then jcpenny's and ross, we were paid to catch theives and sometimes get into a scuffle, if thats your thing. Jcpenny's has a camara system which was great, i got to see all kinds of crazy people try to steal and swicht tickets. from children to 80 year old women. pay started in double digits an hour.

First job in college was work study at the college post office.
First job that paid the bills, I was a supervisor at a battery manufacturing plant.

I was a nanny while in college to make extra money. Parents usually pay well- especially in wealthy areas. Also, its off the books, no taxes taken out- and cash!

i did some cocktail waitressing while in college but it didn't work out so well, i was going to bed at 3am and having to get up for class by 6, it was hard.

Waitress, delivered pizzas, typed papers & nude model. None of the above were enough to live on. I had a grant for tuition, but had to earn my living expenses. .....Room & board, books, etc

i left school did bar work then porter at hotel then chef then welder then door to door phone sales then post man and finally im a paramedic scary but true....im 30 now
