Definitely Patrick Crayton. The Eagles give up 210 passing yards per game. Besides, with the Cowboys coming off a bye, on Sunday night (national audience), Romo wanting to forget his bad performance last time out, and with his new contract, I think the Cowboys are going to come out slugging. And, with To getting a lot of attention from secondaries this year, Crayton has been running wild in the outfield, racking up those points.
The Raiders give up only 170 passing yards per game. And, Sage Rosenfels will be starting at QB for Houston. He managed a TD in scrub time with 4 minutes left to go in a Chargers blowout last week. And, it wasn't to Andre Davis, who only averages 65 yards per game and has just two TDs on the year. So, I would sit Davis this week.
Santana Moss' head isn't on straight. He gets 40 yards a game and has no TDs. Even though they're going up against the hapless Jets (240 yards passing allowed per game), I just wouldn't trust him. He's more likely to bench himself again than to produce on the field.
That leaves Chris Chambers. Minnesota gives up almost 290 passing yards per game, worst in the NFL. Obvously, Gates is going to be the main target. But, Chambers came out of a Miami offense that was coached by Cam Cameron, San Diego's former offensive coordinator. So, he knows the offense enough to hit the ground running (2 catches for 35 yards and a TD in his Chargers debut last week). Rivers will be looking for him deep down the field and in the end zone against the Vikings.
I would start Crayton and Chambers.
