Choose a foundation, concealer and powder that work for you. If you're white, look for a color that is an exact match to your skin tone or, at the worst, a shade lighter. Look for pink or yellow undertones to match your skin.

Step TwoLook for soft pink blushes that match nicely with the naturally flushed color of your skin. Avoid bright colors or colors that are too brown, which will make you look dull.

Step ThreePlay up your heritage with your eyes. Use brown or black eyeliners for definition and mascaras and eye shadows that complement your eye color. You can also play with colored liners to complement the color of your eyes.

Step FourLine your lips for definition if necessary. Use a color that is the same or very slightly darker than the lipstick you will be using.

Step FiveChoose lip colors that will not outshine your eyes and that look nice with your brown, red or blonde hair.

Step SixDefine and darken your eyebrows with a pencil matching your natural hair color.

Step SevenTest all products at a makeup counter before purchase.

Test all new products on a patch of your skin before using on your face to make sure they do not cause any reactions.

Arrange your cosmetics in one location that you will use to apply your makeup. A drawer or cosmetics bag is an excellent place to keep everything you need all together. Try to keep your cosmetics updated and throw away anything that is empty or is too old to use safely. This will keep you from digging through a drawer or bag looking for each item.

Step TwoDecide where you will need concealer. This will most likely be under the eyes especially if you are a brunette. Blend in the concealer with your fingertip after dabbing in the correct locations.

Step ThreeApply your foundation small amounts at a time, so you don't end up with a caked on look. Smooth out your foundation with a sponge, making sure that everything is well blended. Using your powder blush, brush it on at your cheek areas. Avoid applying in circular movements; rather touch your check lightly and move the brush outward and upward. Blend any excess blush with a cosmetic sponge. Dust your face with loose powder to set the base applications of makeup and blush.

Step FourUse a light colored eye shadow, depending upon your skin tones, and cover your entire eyelid. Apply a deeper or darker shade of the eye color into the arch area of your eyes to present a contrast. Make sure that all the shades are well blended.

Step FiveDraw on your eyeliner with either a pencil liner or liquid liner. Start about 1/4 of the way from your nose and move outward with the application toward the side of your face. A light application of liner can be drawn on the lower lash area, just in the corners, if desired.

Step SixGive each eye special attention with mascara application to the lashes. For longer appearing lashes, use an eyelash curler prior to applying the mascara.

Step SevenLine your lips with a preferred shade of lip liner. Smooth a coordinating shade of lipstick over your lips, both top and bottom. After a few seconds, apply a lip-gloss for sheen.

Tips & Warnings
Duplicates of your favorite lipstick, gloss and pressed compact should be kept in your purse.
Evening or more dramatic looks can be obtained by applying darker shades of contour shadows and deeper eyeliners on both top and bottom lashes.

from you description I'm seeing corals and pinks, however since I can't see you I can't tell you for sure. Go into shoppers and ask the lady that gives makeovers at the counter what colors she recommends. It's her job to do stuff like that, and she can probably give you some application tips too.
