Humans I assume you mean? I am against it because we would make too many mistakes, and hurt too many people. Look at Dolly, she was cloned and died from old age well before her natural lifespan. Scientists THINK they know why now, but they didn't know it would happen before hand, and don't know what to do about it. There are so many things we don't understand, and so many mistakes that can be made, that it is not a good idea to try to clone humans, certainly not without a HUGE increase in technology and understanding. This is ignoring moral arguments about whether it is right to do at all or not, but because it could cause a huge amount of suffering to the clone, it shouldn't be done at this point.

Absolutely not. The planet is wildly overpopulated as it is. Food and livestock are loaded with chemicals, the oceans are being fished out, and we're polluting even the atmosphere. End of rant. Bob H.

I would be for it because society allows us to increase our technological needs in every other field of science. And if this technique was to be perfected then human offspring's would have the desirable traits and most genetic disorders would be curtailed

AGAINST. Lord don't we have enough people to deal with??? and what if the clones comitt crimes, are you going to count on the system to be able to make sure it wasn't you?
