Why do companys fruit snack? What I mean by fruit snacking is when a company repeats the same art over and over and gets repetitive. It is called fruit snacking because fruit snack boxes tend to do this. My question is, why do they do this, does it give them $5 every time they do this or something?

Not having to pay a designer for new layouts.

Not having to retool a printing facility, just to create more visual graphics for a product that is being sold INSIDE the box.

Recognizable artwork makes product recognition possible, among the many competing products.

I have been in the business for a LONG time, and I have NEVER heard the term "fruit snacking." The term I recognize is, "Product Branding." Manufacturers spend a LOT of money to Brand their products. It costs them a lot to change the look of the brand.

Look at the Coca Cola can. You can recognize that can from a hundred yards away. You don't even have to see the name of the product to know that it is a "Coke."
