Ontario (Toronto) should get their first snowfall Nov. 27. I live in Lower Mainland B.C. we should get our first snowfall Jan. 10. It will be 3 inches of slush and still everyone will crash into each other.

In a chilly moist climate the leaves do no longer decompose, they rot over the grass. this could herald pathogens that attack the leaf blades and finally the turning out to be factors of the grass plant, the crowns..down at soil line. If severe, the grass plant life die under this sodden moist mass, very like leaving a tarp over the backyard different than oxygen and sunlight. Why in the woodland floor is there is now backyard turning out to be below. those leaves rotted (decomposed) without destroying a backyard under. in reality you are able to flow those raked leaves under shrubs or around perennial vegetation and enable them to stay there all iciness. They rot and return the nutrition to the floor without destroying a backyard below. In my dry climate leaf raking is only mowing the backyard. Being a mulcher mower the leaves are floor all the way down to airborne dirt and dust and because we don't get lots snow the airborne dirt and dust could blow approximately, decompose, yet oftentimes be of no result.

I live in Ontario to, but I'm wondering if we'll EVER get snow. Our winters went from mild to practically non existant. I miss those days, 10 years ago even, when you could build snow forts and such...I always wanted to try snowboarding to, but I don't want to do it on fake snow..so I might never get to do that..not around here...oh well.
