Speaking as someone with lymphoma, cancer could be a risk for your baby.
It is extremely important to let your doctor know if there is even a SLIGHT chance that you are pregnant. All of the tests and/or treatments they are giving you pose a potential risk to your baby- which could range from physical or mental deformities to death.
Please tell your doctor ASAP; it is important not only for your baby's health, but yours as well.

It depends on what type of cancer, and what type of treatment you receive.

Chemo will hurt and possibly kill your baby. Cervical, uterine, anal, bladder and ovarian cancer can possibly endanger your baby.

Cervical cancer is actually pretty common in women of fertile age, who have had HPV. It is impossible to treat while pregnant. I knew a girl who had to have the treatment after having a pap that showed her positive for cervical cancer. She would have died if she waited for the baby to be born, so she opted for the treatment and lost the baby and her fertility (as cancer destroys the outer layer of the ovaries which produces eggs)

I don't believe so....BUT I know that with certain cancers pregnancy hormones can cause your cancer to spread.

You need to consult your Oncologist as to whether or not being pregnant is good for you & baby. PLUS your cancer drugs might not be safe for baby. Like I said...you need to talk to your Oncologist.

not usually, unless its in the uterus and the pressure of the growing tumor can cut off the blood supply. But you can't treat cancer while pregnant, chemo is obviously toxic to the fetus. Its a rare event, most women of childbearing age do not get cancer
