They say it is too expensive - wrong! They have not even discussed price.

I think the biggest issue is that they disagree where the channel would be housed. The Big Ten network wants to be included as part of expanded cable, but Comcast wants it on one of the sports tiers.

Comcast doesn't want to put it on the expanded cable package because it would mean raising everyone's rates. If they put it on the sports tier, then only those subscribing to that package would face an increase. My guess, personally, is that those already subscribing to sports tiers would gladly pay a little more for the channel.

The funniest part of this is to listen to Comcast acting concerned about raising customer rates. That's something you don't hear from the cable companies every day!

I hate that i cant watch the games on BTN i always have to go to a friends house to watch those games. Luckilly the Michigan-MSU game is on ABC this week!

I just saw the Michigan basketball schedule and 15 games are on BTN. :(
