I really miss the sun - I don't like the weather in UK from about mid-November to January because everywhere is usually so grey, it makes me feel low. I try to go abroad for some winter sun to keep me going until the spring. I can never decide if it's lack of colour or lack of sunlight, or (probably) a combination of the two.

The human body operates best within a fairly narrow temperature range and some abnormal heat or cold can impose severe stress. As per some police reports, significantly more violent crimes are committed during very hot or stormy weather. There is marked relationship between human mortality and thermal stress.Due to thermal stress, blood pressure of human beings may increase with the result people get angry easily.

When my son was in 5th grade he did a science fair project comparing air pressure, temperature and wind speed with the behavior of his classmates. What he found was that when it was hot they were roudy, when it was hot and windy (over 10 mph) they were very roudy and got into fights, and when the air pressure dropped they got grouchy.
Personally, I feel better when the air pressure rises, but I always thought it was because low pressure caused my sinuses to ache. Right now, though, I'd dance and sing if it would just rain here. I also love it when it snows a lot.

Sunshine makes me happy and eager to be outside whereas grey skies and rain are very depressing and I don't want to go outside.
