my boyfriend thinks that nevaeh is a pretty name for a girl. its pro nounced na-vay-a. its also heaven spelled backwards. opinions please!!

I think that it is a pretty name but it's over used and hard to pronounce, the child will spend her life being called Nevaeh S. or whatever her last name is. She will also have to tell people how to spell/say her name wherever she goes. If you have your heart set on it, I'd make it her middle name, it could be really pretty.

Oh please stick up for your little baby and don't let your boyfriend talk you into giving it a silly name. I realise you're stuck with Carrasco so give your little darling a suitable name that she can handle to go with it. People often choose names because they like the sound of them and vowel sounds make the biggest impression. I'm sure you could come up with a normal name with the"ay" sound in it that your boyfriend could love too and won't be a burden for your child.

I think it is a horrible name for a child. But that is also because I can not stand it when people name thier children other forms of speech (aka: Rose, Destiny, Pearl, Heaven...). And spelling it backwards is somehow even worse than that. Yuck.

I agree that Nevaeh is a very pretty name, but it's not original at all. So if that matters to you, then don't go for it. I'm not too wild about that middle name.

just my opinion but i do not like it!!!! it is too pretentious and hippie sounding to me! but do what ever you will it is your choice,good luck!
