This is one I made up:
Keely and Alexandra are on the swim team.They represent their school in a competition.Keely's times for the last 3 races were 6.25 minutes,6.3 minutes,and 6.23 minutes.Alexandra's times were 6.29 minutes 6.37 minutes,and 6.37 minutes.On average,how much faster was keely's time?

it out by how much she was infront each time.

Here's what I did.
Kelly's time = 6.25 + 6.3 + 6.23 = 18.87
Alexandra's time = 6.29 + 6.37 + 6.37 = 19.05
Alexandra exceeded Kelly by 0.27 [19.05 - 18.87]
