Yes, it is normal to have a bit of spotting for a day after a pap smear. The reason for the spotting is because of the special brush that is used for taking the cells. When the cells are taken by this special brush it can cause a bit of irritation.

If the bleeding continues for more than a couple days please let your doctor know so that they can evaluate the situation further.

you're no longer pregnant. bright crimson blood with clots is fairly regularly occurring in a classic era in adulthood. darkish crimson blood at times happens while a woman is pregnant. believe your Dr.'s effects and definite, you're overthinking issues. in case you do no longer desire to be a mom now, be clever, and use some sturdy start administration....and or abstain for sexual intercourse for a at the same time as, a minimum of until eventually you're married and arranged.

Yes, but not a lot. They should have warned you that you may have some spotting and they gave me a panty liner pad. If you are bleeding profusely then that's NOT normal

Yes, one of practise nurses thinks she is harpooning whales and It HURTS. I now ask who is on duty before agreeing to the appointment. I did put her name forward to go on a harpooning expedition but she refused.

yes they say if you are ovulating, have just finished your period or are about to start then your cervix is more tender, therefore it can be a little painful. if they scrape too hard they can also cause slight bleed.
