In preparation for the upcoming election its become quite apparent that we're in a bit of a shl+storm. There really doesn't seem to be one person, who has an actual chance, that is worth a damn. I was doing some research on Hilary and for a liberal she seems to want to censor just about everything from violent video games, to profane music to cartoons. What does one do?(Aside from voting for Ron Paul, who probably won't win anyway.)

The answer is simple and it has nothing to do with her party. It deals with running for President. I dont believe we have had a candidate in any year that I can remember who actually stood for one set things. They are running in a race that the winner is picked by who is liked more, bottom line. It is a popular vote and called such. There is no secret that government officials are corrupt, or scandalous, so why should the top position in the government be any different. Think about it, if to gain power in the Congress/senate you need connections and to sell out on some things,. I'm sure to get to be a candidate for the President, there must of been serious sell outs as well as the support of giant connections. These giant supporters aren't Joe and Jenny that live next door to us, theses are the people that own thousands of acres on giant estates (and ironically have the largest impact of all when it comes to specifics of bills to be passed). Basically we are talking abut the top 1%, the hidden money that keeps these politiicans able to even run for president.

Now back to your question, and to my point. Most of all of thier views are vague for a reason. It is too early to take a stand for something (have to wait till your elected) with both feet planted firm on something especially censorship. The country is either way on this, and has different opinions on how far censorship should go. We live in a censored society (whether we admit it or not) and for any canidate to give a definative answer on their exact posiiton on where to draw the censorship line would be political suicicide. Plus lets look at the sources of information. The Internet. It is easier to manipulate than our current media, and more people turn to it for answers. So who knows really if Hillary is against Halo3 or just games that are about killing babies and raping woman. Tis hard to say. Bottome line though is this, dont vote. lol. Thats my solution (obviously it has been proven that our votes do not matter, G.W. ring a bell?) instead of voting on people, we should stand up and ask for the right to vote on issues, then this would be a true democracy instead of this entrusting some corrupt douche bag to represent us in midst of million dollar influences.

Liberal is the opposite of Libertarian.

A Libertarian's name comes from Liberty, because that is the highest value for them.

A Liberal's name comes from Libertine, a person with no values beyond trying to do whatever benefits him or her the most.

For a Libertarian, the individuals in general come first, so s/he will fight for individual freedoms.

For a Liberal, their own pleasure in the here and now is the only thing that matters, so they'll try to scam other people and deprive them of liberty.

Liberalism is a form of Socialism. It's Socialism plus sexual licentiousness.

You have three false premises in your question, plus the "always" falacy.

She not such a liberal, liberals will allow for some censorship, she has no plans to censor video games, cartoons or music.

Liberals are OK with censorship, as long as they do the censoring. Actually, it's kinda funny. Liberals love to clamp down of free speech by calling it 'hate speech,' while conservatives are generally the ones ready to call anything they don't like 'obscene.' Both pretend they respect our rights, while trying to take away as many of them as possible.

(BTW, saying that Ron Paul 'probably' won't win marks you as a fanatical Ron Paul supporter - the rational estimation of his chances would be more along the lines of 'absolutely none' or "couldn't get elected, even if he ran unopposed.")

Liberals only want you to have freedom of speech if you agree with them. See 90% of the protests they yell a lot, act like small children and throw hissy fits. They contribute nothing, accomplish nothing and are woefully inept at accomplishing anything. Don't believe me? Look at their congress they elected. They havn't accomplished anything and blame every veto they've been warned about on someone else. Even the non rabid of their constituents no longer agree with them.

In your investigations what kind of censor would she want to place on violent video games? What type of violence would not be acceptable --- gang violence, rape, beatings, gore (not Al), brutalism?

The same with music. My God some musical lyrics are hideous and constant oppression by this music and violent musicians is dangerous to society as a whole. I know, I know, Elvis.

We already can't watch Popeye!

Because Liberals are against Freedom.
They censor everything that is pro-American, and anything they don't personally like.

But in all Fairness: Liberals believe in "TERRORIST RIGHTS".
They will not allow us to treat them shoddy, if they are prisoners.

Because liberals favor censorship when it fits them. For example, they favor censoring the conservative point of view whenever they can.
