now I'm not an Idiot I know that everywhere pretty much has all four seasons, but i live in a town where we basically have Summer then Winter, fall and spring seem to not exist. So i was wondering if there was anywhere out there that you could actually tell it was changing seasons, such as you know flowers blooming, light rain showers, leaves falling in the way you see in books and tv haha. oh and where it actually snows!

Move to Minnesota! Winters might be a bit longer than in most areas...but the springs/falls are beautiful and magical.

I live in New Jersey and we definetly feel all 4 seasons. In the summer we reach highs into the 90s from july through sept, during the fall months it can be in the 60s during the beggining and fall down to highs in the 40s and 50s as winter gets closer. During the winter (not last winter lol), we usually get about a total of 1ft of snow or more. And spring is beautiful too!

"I know that everywhere pretty much has all four seasons"

Actually, they don't. Four seasons are found in high latitudes and were first described in northern Europe. Seasons were defined long before Copernicus or Keppler came along and they were defined by the weather, the flowering and fruiting of plants and the migration and behaviour of animals and birds.

In other parts of the world, people have defined seasons in the same way but they have different numbers of seasons. In Australia, the commonest number is six seasons but the people of the Kimberley and also the southwest Gulf of Carpentaria have five. The Wik people of Cape York Peninsula have eight. Some people in central Australia have but two seasons.

There are various different sets of seasons in Africa, Asia and the Americas depending on how the local people see their climate. Northern Europeans brought the four seasons with them to the rest of the world and most people go along with them but they bear no relationship to the climate in many places - especially the tropics and sub-tropics.

No, there is not any e book 4. there will be, besides the undeniable fact that, a clean sequence called 'Avatar: The Legend Of Korra.' It occurs seventy 5 years sooner or later and Korra is the reincarnation of Aang. She's a waterbender from the Southern Water Tribe. Korra is in her previous due little ones (sixteen or 17) and he or she has already mastered Water, Earth, and hearth, yet she desires a instructor so she would be in a place to assessment Air. i've got faith it fairly is popping out the autumn of 2011. wish this helped :)

well i live in southwestern virginia, and the season are pretty distinct. it definitely starts getting chilly early october...and the leaves all turn to orange or red or somewhere in between. then around mid november to late march its freezing haha. then about april you see buds starting to appear, warm showers, and sunshine. then summer its normal for it to be around 80's.
