not only is it possible but there is software out there that people can put on your computer when your on the internet, without you knowing, that does just that. its called spy ware. also cookies can do that too. also the server keeps a log of every site you visit in case you break the law and the police want or need to see what sites you have visited.

It is possible. For instance, someone at google could be watching the traffic. But not likely. Also, if you are connected via an unsecure wireless connection your activity can be viewed.
If possible, use secure wireless connections, routers and firewalls.

of course people can spy on you for instance if you have
spyware on your computer they will track every website
you visit , and also if you are using wireless internet with
unsecured network or wep your neighbours or a hacker
that drives by your house can spy on everything you do
online and steal passwords. yes its scary but in order
to stop hackers you have to think like a hacker.

OF COURSE. theres a little thing called spyware, and you are attacked by spyware everytime you visit a website. people cannot see what you are doing literally, but they can see the websites you have visited, steal potentially important files, private files, account numbers etc....be very careful where you go on the internet.
