There is an old saying that a man marries a woman, hoping she'll never change. But a woman marries a man figuring she can eventually change him to suit her preferences.
Well, I know of one girl that fits the description you wrote. She used to blather on and on about how stupid and worthless her boyfriend was. She lost a lot of weight for the wedding, and we commented about how happy and proud her soon to be husband must be. She replied that she didn't care at all; she planned to gain all the weight back. She just wanted to look good in the wedding photos. (yeah, no joke)
However, for many of the guys who find their girlfriend changed radically after marriage, they should remember another old saying: "If you treat your wife like a thoroughbred, she won't turn into a nag".

in the 'Holy Land', homes grow to be holy from artillery being plugged in the direction of the exterior partitions or roof. Or it may desire to be led to from insurgents blowing themselves as much as get the seventy two virgins, or is it extra now, what with inflation and all. The nails and sharp products of metallic packed in the bombs additionally make a contribution to smaller holes. There won't be left a brick upon a brick ultimately. That god must be some great guy.

It goes both ways. More often than not it changes. Everyone I know has gone through it, both ways. I am going through it again now. My new husband and I were friends for 10 years before. NO one thought we would go through it but we are. People have strange ideas of how life is once the ring goes on. Sorry have seen it every time.

Its because when you are dating you both try hard with everything to make eachother happy. Once your married you both know you don't have to lie or anything like that anymore to make the other happy and its not just the woman the man stops romancing after marriage all so sad

I'm a wife and a really cool one according to my husband. I let him do whatever he wants and same for me. You just need the trust in the marriage and all is good. I even feel good when his other married friends tell my husband that they wish their wives were like me.

I'm not a man but i married in so i should count . . . .
i don't think its true in every case. i let my husband go out with his friends when he wants. he doesn't do it too often but when it comes up i don't have issues with it. i recently let him get himself a bike too. fun doesn't have to die when you commit
