iPOD question?

When I connect my iPOD to my computer using the USB, it shows that that iPOD is charging, my question is that is it really charging?

yes that means it is chargeing

yes, if you see the battery filling up and then going back down continously with a fire/lighting bolt. IT is definitely charging!
