my friend wants to know because there are not many auditions around here

Yes, anyone can use actorsaccess but you are submitting your headshot and resume so whether or not you get called in may depend on that. Also, make sure before you submit that you know where the audition is and that it's in your area or you'll be submitting for nothing. You can't submit for a project in LA if you live in Montana unless you are willing and able to get there in time for the audition. You are supposed to look at auditions in your area and submit for the same if you know what I mean.

Also it costs to submit electronically unles you have a Showfax subscription so it's wasting your money if you submit outside an area that you can drive to.
