Ironic for the Fascist President to accuse anyone else of appeasment.

The fact that the military and the intelligence community has thwarted every attempt at a terror attack on the country and won two wars since 9-11 has made them all complacent.
They forgot we are at war and when reminded they deny we are at war. It's actually worse than surrender.
I have been around a long time and I've seen a lot of stupid, partisan politics but, this is beyond comprehension. Irrational and dangerous.
The Democrats since 2006 have clearly demonstrated that they can not lead and at this time we need good solid leadership like no time before in our history.
This is a turning point. We just can not fail. It's not an option.
The Democrats have miraculously achieved lower ratings than our country's most unpopular president.
It's a no brainer, they must go.

Sure, our Liar in Chief needs someone to back him up like Gonzales did, without that cover he really is up for a possible war crimes trial. You see, we are signatory to the Geneva Convention, if it comes out that he approved torture, he opens himself up to those charges in the worlds courts.
Whether you like Bush or not, whether you are Republican or not, you can see his difficulty.
Problem is the Hitler in this case is Bush himself, and he needs to be appeased.

And in your fantasy world who, may I ask, is Hitler?

Mukasey thinks (or isn't quite sure) that waterboarding is not torture. I think you have the Hitler analogy backwards. Hitler used torture tactics like waterboarding (and worse).

Maybe you need to open your eyes and see this administration for what it really is.

I've always hated people who try to use Hitler or Nazis as comparisons against people they don't like. It is a stupid comparison, used by stupid people, who can't actually form a debate.

What does it matter. None of them have a backbone between them. Even Edwards admits it.

Edwards: Dems need to show 'backbone'

Demagoguery and fear are his only act. He's a tired, old one-trick pony who should've been put out to pasture through impeachment years ago.

If they turn him down, Bush may never nominate someone they like ever again. The A.G. nomination came from Shumer's backing.

No, they would be like "Hitler's appeasers" if they voted to confirm Mukasey.

Geez, at least get the question right.
