I asked a question before & chose the answer that was more mature.. (even though the other answers were what I said when I got off the phone pissedoff & cussing after talking to them...) but DOESNT HAVING SOMEONE IN A FOREIGN LAND POSE A THREAT TO US AS AMERICANS WHEN THEY HAVE ACCESS TO OUR ACCOUNTS? Regardless if its a credit card compnay or not, if they have my name & address then they can surely get my vital info..
Am I right or wrong to think this?

Even a US bred and born customer service agent can steal your information. It happens here too.

The person on the line in a foreign country is no more dangerous than the person on the line in this country. The key phrase here is "on the line". Once you make the leap-of-faith to let anyone in on your information you are taking a chance.

There are just too many ways to have your identity Jacked.

Be afraid, be very afraid.

I have concerns along this line myself. I hate talking to them, they just do not get American language.
