I always appreciated flowers when I was doing high school shows. Shoot, I still appreciate them for any reason.
They're a great way to express your appreciation for her hard work and talent. Roses are fabulous if you can afford them, and keep in mind that the yellow rose is the official rose of the International Thespian Society, so you may want to choose those. Otherwise, a nice mixed bouquet is always lovely.

my son's high school musical committee has flowers available for purchase at the door to send backstage to any cast member. the kids love it, because it's a real morale booster!
