As a singer, not a person.

Personally, I like her more and more. She has a phenomenal voice and has always sing good songs. Recently-on her last 2 albums- she has been able to write her own music and been more in touch with her country side. Family is a good album, there is only two songs i dont like, same with This Woman. She is really maturing, as an artist, and I think her stuff will just get better,

I Love Leann Rimes. I have always thought that she is gifted. I don;t have the expertise to critique her vocal ability and I will agree that Martina has a great vocal ability also but I have always liked Leann. She has done quite well to still be here considering how long she has been in the business from such a young age. No matter what you think about her, there is no denying the woman can sing and more than just well.

Incredible vocal ability. With regard to technique only, IMHO she is second only to Martina McBride. I'm, of course, referring to pitch, control, range etc.

When she was a kid, I was amazed by her ability to mimic Patsy to a "tee." But, having done that once, and immediately recognizing her raw vocal ability, I along with many others, haven't ever see her reach that vocal zenith since.

Either she peaked early, or has some of the worst A&R men in Nashville. Her popularity is quite beside the point, I'm simply attempting to directly address the original question .

In closing, and just perhaps, LeAnn's problem (if there is any,) is in her inability to properly phrase a country song. this, despite a great natural voice. An example (although admittedly ridiculous) would be a release of Barbara Streisand recording a tribute to Kitty Wells.

While continuing to appreciate LeAnn entirely from a technical point of view, I'd frankly rather listen to less "gifted" vocalists such as, Patty Loveless, Lee Ann Womack, Sara Evans, to name only a few.

I think Leann is a great singer, I don't enjoy her image changes though. One minute she is singing very country Patsy Cline songs like "Blue," the next she's going the Faith Hill route with country/pop songs like "How Do I Live" recently I heard her doing a sexy type song called "Tic Toc."

It's great that she can delve into different styles of music, but alot of it seems contrived and doesn't fit her, imo.

Sorry approximately your Dad. New converts are consistently the worst, only like reformed alcoholics or people who provide up smoking. yet, confident in accordance to Christianity, honestly all of us "sins". No exceptions. as nicely the secular regulation, which applies to all of us, Christians have all their very very own regulations which you "sin" once you wreck those. For starters, there is swearing, alcohol (in some sects), any form of intercourse outdoors marriage, Mormons do no longer drink, smoke, or use caffeine (regardless of if i've got common Mormons that do all 3) and so on. regardless of if, as stated, ingesting a hamburger is a "sin" against the Hindu "gods" and that i'm constructive Hindus do issues that are "sins" against the Christian "god". Atheists and agnostics like myself can not "sin" because of the fact there is no shown "god" to "sin" against. in case you could no longer discover any cogent reason to have faith in a "god", how are you able to "sin"? reward on your adventure!

She has a very interesting voice but her songs seem to be leaning to a contemporary pop sound.

I like her and most of her songs. She seems down to earth and doesn't act like she's better than anyone else. She's very polite and I think she really appreciates her fans.

My opinion is improving. I love her new song "Nuthin better to do" I think her voice is much better as she has matured.

Blue was good, but I think she's over-rated & sorta trampy looking, ya know trying too hard to be the sex-kitten type.
