I was 5 years old. I remember I dressed up as Barbie.

When we got home, my candy bag was chock full, with TONS of candy inside. I don't remember where my mom went, but I parked myself under a lamp table with my bag of candy and sat there eating it. Looking back, I laugh because I just sat there eating piece after piece without thinking. I must have eaten 40 pieces at least.

After I while I started to cry cuz my tummy hurt. I thought that the sweet taste of candy would make it go away, so I stuffed myself more and more. Soon after, I felt queasy so I ran to find my mom. When I got to her bedroom doorway, I vomited everything I had eaten. I remember that there was soo much barf, some of it barely digested. My mom didn't want to deal with it so she paid someone to clean it up.

When she found out that all my candy was gone, she just collapsed on the couch and laughed for a looong time till tears ran down her cheeks.

I cried.

I was also about 5. I was a witch. I had red hair and no front teeth. Still have red hair but now I have teeth. My Dad walked me around the block. In those days not so much worry about sickos putting stuff in the candy so we ate the unwrapped cookies and popcorn balls. I was eating stuff between houses that I could sneak. When we got home I was already sick. I did get to keep the plastic pumpkin bucket in my room that night and after I felt better in the night I ate more. I then got really sick. The candy was then taken away from me. After that I was made to choose no more than 2-3 after we got home.

Not sure how old I was, but I remember my brother traipsing alongside me. This was in Iowa and there was always snow so we had to bundle up. Many of the homes gave my brother candy too because they felt sorry for him having to take me around in the cold!
