He has sacrificed his own popularity for the good of the people. We cannot ask a president for more than that.
Much better than the brown noser we had in office previous to him.
Oh, I forgot...
Clinton's nose was a bulbous red. Wonder why?

I didn't like the whole patriot act thing so thats a bad thing imo, I think it is the role of the exec branch to out and enforce the law like immigration and the use of the military. I don't think its the role of the president to promote social programs or things domestically that arent involved with enforcing the law and mantaining order so Bush hasn't promoted those issues much so that is one thing I have liked. I haven't liked his subsidies on farmers and certain other industries though but overall I think he hasnt done as bad as people make him out to be (although he as a person is probably dumber then a rock).

Bad... he has polarized the nation more than anyone else; he stubbornly refuses to hear dissenting opinions; he seems to be dishonest by cherry picking evidence for the purpose of war (and his town meetings have been only allowing hand picked loyalists.... no president has EVER done this); he has disregarded the Geneva Convention and implies by not making a straight denial that he is allowing Americans to actually torture people; he has unsuccessfully triede\ many terrorist suspects that his cabinet post (homeland Security) has deemed as enemies... those domestic arrests have not even had a .500 prosecution rate (.500 is very generous); he has somehow politicized the Justice Department by alloing Gonzalez to be the administration's personal lackey (once again, unheard of in any presidency ever)..... the wiretapping being unconstitutional... I got some things to do so i'll stop there otherwise I'll be here all night.

BAD - Bush has done a lot of damage to the US's image/reputation. Our military is stretched entirely too thin & our economy is tanking. (If we are going to have an outrageous national debt, could it be as a result of domestic spending versus spending abroad?)
When will this administration be held accountable for its actions? Because it seems as if the blame continues to shift back to Clinton - although he left office January 2001. (I still need someone to explain that one to me.)
I guess we should blame the peanut butter samonila posioning on Jimmy Carter - I mean he was a peanut farmer.

99% of the world's problems are caused by one thing: OTHERS.
America has been bad for America, and Bush has been a wonderful target of a figurehead, but he's about done. We have work to do.

Horrible.
He has terrible speaking and communication skills and has made a mockery of the Presidency.
Starting a war based on Iraq having WMD when the weapons inspector's after months and months of searching in Iraq were unable to find any, and to the this day have we yet to find any.
Failure to comply with the U.S. judicial system's subpoena's to submit White House documentation regarding the firings of the U.S. attorneys and failure to comply with another subpoena request to have 2 of his counsels testify in court.
Continued lack of war strategy in Iraq that is costing tax payers trillions of dollars.
Illegal wire tapping.
The approval of torture to Iraqi detainees and prisoners which goes against the Geneva Conventions.
While Katrina victims are drowing Bush is playing his guitar.
This would have to fall into a catergory of some sort that shows failure and lack of interest to take action during a time of crisis.
Putting the reputation of his appointed officials before the interests of the United States. The failure to appoint officials to positions who met the job requirements. Ex. FEMA director, Mr. Brown who Bush said was "doing a heck of a job" and then is relieved of his fema duties shortly after. Donald Rumsfeld who clearly did not know what he was doing and was finally relieved of his duties. Alberto Gonzales who clearly did not have a good memory because he said "I do not remember" too many times.

George W. Bush has been very bad for America, because he lies to the American people on a regular basis.
He lied to get us into the Iraq War.
He lied about Scooter Libby.
He lied about using torture.
He is lying about Iran.
He had Alberto Gonzales lie to congress.
He claims executive privilege when it is clear that there should not be.
He is an idiot, he cannot even pronounce Nuclear.

People who aren't Americans have a much lower opinion of the USA because of Bush. (In the main that is - I don't like Bush, but I do like the USA).

He has set back our country 30 years. For all those people that say "we haven't been attacked since 9-11" are believing the lies that come from the white house. They haven't prevented anything. Since Bush took office we also haven't been invaded by martians, does he get credit for that as well.
