Because perverts can turn up anywhere...even at the front of your kindergartners class. The world is full of these kind of people. It's a sad and sick reality.

They probably have schizophrenia or some other severe mental illness. A normal, mentally-stable person would not sexually abuse a child. However someone who is psychotic has impaired judgement and therefore would commit such a horrfiic crime.

well I don't think all teacher's do it...and I'd say it's probably a number of reasons leading up to the one factor which is because they're sick.
