Just the beginning. Talk Radio & Internet are all on the big floor. Limitations and access. Some with FCC and others. Mostly Democrat's ... at the helm? Captain Hillary. Removing our freedom of speech is a standard Democrat maneuver. I wish I could say it was different. You could maybe compare it to Republican's seem to want guns/NRA and the other aisle wants restraints on public information. Presidential Executive Orders sealing documents & pardon's. Carter & WJClinton your two worst offenders.

Personally I know it was a joke. But I wonder who it back fires on?

Yeah, I just posted about this. I don't think this is 1st amendment violation, however the Democrats are not playing by their own rules. Colbert followed the procedure to get on the ballot, and was denied. He didn't exploit any loopholes, just wanted to run for the Democrats and was shut down. It just shows that Democrats won't play by their own rules if they don't want to.

And why do the republicans in South Carolina squash free speech unless you have $35,000.00 to talk up at least the Dems made the effort affordable, oh but the GOP is such a big tent party, yeah right

It's obvious from the way that they throw around the term that cons haven't a clue what "free speech" means. No free speech rights have been violated here.

Colbert is a make-believe conservative who is not a serious candidate. The 2008 election is very serious, especially for the Democrats.

Remember this that when the time comes to rip this nations citizens of its constitutional rights it will come from the left and not the right. Because that is the only way they are able to push through there agendas with control. They fooled you into thinking they where moderates and took control of the senate and congress and if your not vigilant they will take control of the executive and judiciary branch of our government as well. All because you think you cant afford healthcare or your right to have an abortion is going to be taken away and you want the government to strip you of more of your hard earned pay for their failed over bloated government programs. Do not forget the fairness doctrine being pulled out of the liberal constitutional torture closet.

Every single word being written by your responder Shinji is the absolute gospel truth and I, for one, concur completely in his statements herein !!
I do not even know this person -- and -- to the absolute letter this individual knows exactly Of what he is speaking !!

We are in perilous times -- the sovereignty of the nation is being covertly assaulted from within our own government and the these "games" of Democrat / Republican garbage is a "made for the public" WWF style facade to keep people believing that there is a difference of some kind between those in power !! There is none --- for they all are party to the disassembling of the nation in favor of the globalist endgame !! We are being regulated into our little corner of the One World Government as we speak --- and people are continuing their normal everyday doodah as if it is all going to be just fine !! Look around you --- IT IS NOT ----ALL JUST FINE !!!!!!!!!

The Democrats version of "Free Speech" is that they only want their speech to be heard and no one else.

That is the reason behind the "Fairness Doctrine" and controlling only 1 form of media than don't dominate and that is talk radio.

He's really trying to use South Carolina Democrats as suckers so he can further a comedy routine.

It's a publicity stunt, so he needed to be removed.

We only have one party in the US, "The Corrupt". The Corrupt will keep anyone out who threatens the single party system. It looks like there is two but they are all the same people.

Why do you think every single third party effort has failed, ever?!??

Colbert has a daily TV show. He doesn't need to be on the ballot in order to express his views.
