does expired id's work?

i dont want to carry my creditcards when im out partying, i'd rather just use an expired one. i look exactly like i do on the picture, the only downer is that i look a little young (but i am 27).. but does expired id's usually work?

Yes and no. Legally no one is required to accept an expired ID. However most bars and clubs are more concerned with your age than the expiration date on the card. If your state law says they can not accept them then you are less likely to get away with it.

Why not just carry your current ID and leave the cards at home? They are not inseparable.
