Discribe what the republics and democrats believes are to be the best way to improce our current leagal system and what is their position on crime.

I don't believe either side has a plan for improving anything, only plans for imposing their short-sighted wills over the rest of us.. You can vote for the lesser of the two evils, not for the better of the two or three choices.

Members of the Democrat Party generally believe that a person is inherently good. If a person does a bad thing, it is because of their "environment," because they are sick or poor or treated unfairly. The government fixes problems in the environment that lead people to do bad things; sending people to jail does not fix the environment so a Democrat normally does not like spending money on prisons.
Republicans believe that every person has a "touch" of evil inside them. A person does bad things because they are weak and not able or not willing to fight that evil. Your parents punish you to help you learn to fight the evil inside you. Some parents fail and the prison system takes over. If the person never learns to fight the evil inside them, the prison system keeps them from hurting other people.
