Well you didn't say when school starts. If school starts at 8:15 then you're responsible. If it starts at 8 exactly, it's his responsibility. It sure would be nice of him to do it though. Why don't you give him more visitation so that he wants to help you out? 2 days a week is just not enough for a dad to spend w/ their kid :(

If the child 's school class begins at 8:00 .. then it is the father's responsibility .. unless otherwise ordered. This should be clarified in your Divorce Papers.

Yes .. if the child is in school .. and the father's visitation ends at a time when the child should be in school .. then the father is responsible. When the child is legally in whatever parents care - according to legal documentation ... the parent is responsible for the well-being of the child .. and it goes without saying the child HAS to be in school. The child's school begins at 8:00 .. correct? Your time starts back after 8:00. The child could get in trouble at school if he is late for school .. and the custodial parent is responsible for the child, while in their care, or on their watch of the child.

If your husband causes troubles over this - get it specified in the Divorce papers .. which may already be specified.

Sadly i have to agree with him...unless school starts at 8am? I must admitt it sounds like a strange visitation agreement...maybe if you are having problems with this agreement then you might have to look at changing this...it really does sound strange to have ya kids dropped off at 8am...anyway good luck with this and i hope it works out in the future not just for you and the father but for your children aswell...

If he is the parent in charge he is responsible for taking him to school if he doesn't he could lose visitation completely since he is neglecting the child's education. I would tell him that he needs to take his child to school or you will be discussing with the courts that the visitation be revoked because of the irresponsibility of said father.

this would depend on what time school starts....if your child is in PM Kindergarten...then no it his not his responsibility as his visitation ends at 8 am -- if the childs school starts at 8 am or earlier then yes his responsibility...but if school starts at 9 or 8:30 then no....his visitation is over already

Hope that helps
