i have joseph addai and cedric benson but benson has a bye. i only have huge bust jerious norwood on my bench and a narrow pickup selection
here are my pickup options:
Sammy Morris vs. Indianapolis
Kenton Keith vs. New England
Justin Fargas
Warrick Dunn
Leon Washington
Chris Brown
Chris Henry
Ron Dayne
Correll Buckhalter
Kevin Fauk vs. Indianapolis
Jason Wright
Tatum Bell
Chester Taylor
Maurice Morris
Vernand Morency
Mike Sellers
Musa Smith
Ladell Betts
Cecil Sapp
Not a great selection and the two best are in the matchup of the millenium(Keith and Morris)
My best bet might be Morris or Keith but if i get Keith thats Addai and Keith and Morris and Keith's points shot up when the starters on their teams got hurt. Theres also Warrick Dunn who platoons with Norwood who might be better than Norwood. Fargas had one good game. Chris Henry had only a good game last week
Jason Wright probably wont cut it when I play the third best team in the league on Sunday. Jets suck Leon sucks. Help me!!!!

You are indeed in a tough situation. Out of the players on that list there isn't anyone who jumps out at me. I was going to say Morris but I just found out he did not practice today and may not play since New England has a bye following the game vs. the Colts. Keith was supposed to platoon (somewhat) with Addai last week but that proved to be false as Addai was the featured weapon out of the backfield. Keith won't do much unless Addai gets hurt again.

Like I said there isn't really anyone on this list who is going to make an impact. I agree with the first post though, you should definitely take a look at Ryan Grant as honestly, I think he is the best option here. Grant will make his first NFL start on Sunday vs. KC after coming off a 124 yard performance against Denver on Monday Night Football. He is the only one out of these players who is starting.

If he is not available in your league, you are basically out of luck and it becomes a craps shoot to see which of these players will have the most fantasy points. I really don't know who I would go with but I am going to say Warrick Dunn. Even though he will only get around 50 yards he has the best chance of posting a big game and maybve get into the redzone.

First priority Ryan Grant, if he isn't there you are stuck with Dunn.

Chris Henry was out the first 5 games. In the two he played, he got about 50 yards and a TD each. So, he's good for about 10 - 12 points.

Morris doesn't do well against good defenses (10 carries for 14 yards against Dallas). But, he might rebound against Indy. Especially when you consider Brady goes to different guys each week and used Faulk a lot last week. He might be a good 1-week pick-up. But, he has a bye in week 10.

Don't get suckered into taking Justin Fargas. If you take away that 22-carry, 179-yard performance against Miami last month, he has 15 carries for 72 yards the last 3 weeks. And, he has yet to see the end zone this season.

Without Addai, Kenton Keith gets lots of yards and TDs as the featured back. With Addai playing in Carolina last week, Keith got 33 yards on 6 carries with no TDs.

The rest of that list doesn't do much for me. I would go with Henry for the sure 10 points or take a chance on Morris being favored by Brady this weekend.

haha.. I would stick with Norwood.. Their playing the 49ers, and Norwood should see alot of carries.. Dunn is wearing his carries thin in ATL which is opening the door to Norwood. Norwood has the best potential of what's available.. There's no one that is available who has a favorable matchup like Norwood and has the potential to do something like Norwood... Did someone say Ryan Grant? Ryan Grant is a one time bust.. And if any of you had any common sense, you wouldn't even dare play Ryan Grant against KC's rush defense...

Pick up Chris Henry from Tenn. He will blow up because Brown is always hurt and LenDale White cannot get the ball into the endzone. Henry rushed 6 times last week for 48 yards, but one of those was for a TD. He played well the week before also in limited action. He is trying to win the starting role, so he will look to produce big when called upon.

I pick Fargas to have another good game. Last week was the first time he was given more carries than LaMont Jordan, and he delivered. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get more carries than Jordan again, and he's against a terrible run D. That's just an opinioin though.

PS - He got like 13 carries in the last game and a couple receptions - a lot more than most people on your list ...

Hm... Norwood hasn't been bad for me... I guess the scoring system is different.

Check Fargas and Henry's projected stats, then trust your gut.

Yeah i pass with LT, Gang green's run D is stiffer than the Pats, and LT gets greater touches than green-Ellis does. in spite of the undeniable fact that if Brady gets the Pats to the door step you will get screwed on some purpose line TD's.
