I continually hear that if the Clintons are re-elected, the good times will be back. Are those who feel that way so blinded by their lust, and ideals that they can't see that those "good times" weren't real? They were based upon lies.

Sure they were, but for two reasons completely unrelated to the Clintons. One, we had a strong republican congress that forced Clinton to sign spending bills that balanced the budget. And secondly, the remarkable resilience of American business and enterprise to prosper despite most of his efforts. That is right up until the day...and it's marked on my calendar...when he personally poked his, um, finger into the tech bubble which led directly to the recession that Bush II inherited.

Democrats can't give you a single thing, a single accomplishment on Clinton's part that made any contribution at all to America's prosperity during his reign.

The Clinton years were much better than the Bush years. After Bush the elder ran up the National Debt, Bill Clinton was able to bring it back under control. When George Bush Jr. was elected and a Republican Congress was in power, there was no control of spending. The deficits and National Debt skyrocketed. The National Debt is over nine trillion dollars. Check out the chart below.

Lets see Wal Mart became big , they promoted Made in America ...good times ...

in the spring 1992 Sam Walton founder of wal mart died ,

fall of 1992 Hillary Clinton steps down as chairlady of the Wal Mart board of directors , because Bill started his bid for President ....Here comes trouble ....

1993 Bill gets president , does up the free trade agreement ...more trouble brewing ...

1994 free trade ratified by congress , opens the door for china , Wal Mart no longer sells Made in America for comapnies to sell products cheap enough for wal mart to carry the products , companies are forced to move to China , or risk going out of business due to wal mart refusing to sell the products unless they are made cheap enough for the stores to carry , ( Basically wal mart told companies they had to cut the prices of the goods , or else the stores would not carry thte products , the manufactors were told by wal mart to set up production in China , that would get prices low enough to be sold in the stores , ..More trouble coming ....

America starts losing millions of jobs , we have a balanced national debt , but it started an ever increasing trade deficit ...
The Clintons cashed in the Wal mart stocks , they made multi millions , China made Billions , while Americans who worked in the manufactoring industry making 15 to 20 dollars per hour , are forced to work at wal-mart for minimum wage , ...wal mart tried to become a place for everyone to work , and shop , they were even charged with unfair business practices and dominating the industry , but that disappeared with the Clintons leaving the White House , Why do you think China is so concerned with Hillary's Presidential Campaign , and why they are donating large sums of money to her ....

The only good thing about the Clintons in power , was when they left , The lowest finance rate you could get on a mortgage during BJ Bill , was 9 to 10% , When GW Bush took over the rate went down to 4 and 5 % I was finally able to get out of debt after the Clintons ...And I can not afford another Clinton term ...

Also the 90's brought us the PMRC , this was Tipper Gore's organization , ( wife of AL) they tried to ban rock music ,and rap , but settled out of court for the Parental Advisory Labels you see today , they did manage to ban a few bands , and songs ....we got politically correct , Bill tried to wussy fy the military , and cut it 45% , then we got all soft hearted for everyone elses feelings , (PC)( wussy fied )

I do not see good times then . how can anyone ....

Lets nopt forget Hillary loves kids , right , ...She simplified the adoption process to " make it easier to adopt America's children " ....she said " that was a highlight of my term as First Lady" ....Ok it is easier for more people to adopt because it cut all the red tape in the adoption process , comapre the numbers of abused and killed children before then , to the number of the abused and killed children who were hurt by the hands of the adoptive parents ......I do not see the love of Children there do you ?? Yet she is concerned about them not having insurance ....is it the kids , or her stock in the American Health Insurance Corp. ....

Wooo Hooo Let the good times roll , ( right over the dumb b*tch )

The Clinton years were good. At least they seemed to be to me. We weren't in any major wars, and life was pretty carefree. I don't delude myself to think that somehow electing Hillary will bring them back. You can't take back 9/11, or the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Those events will color our history for some time to come, only a time machine could bring us back to such care free times.

the good times were simply left overs from reagonomics that clinton erased. the real results are the following

- The only president ever impeached on grounds of personal malfeasance
- Most number of convictions and guilty pleas by friends and associates*
- Most number of cabinet officials to come under criminal investigation
- Most number of witnesses to flee country or refuse to testify
- Most number of witnesses to die suddenly
- First president sued for sexual harassment.
- First president accused of rape.
- First first lady to come under criminal investigation
- Largest criminal plea agreement in an illegal campaign contribution case
- First president to establish a legal defense fund.
- First president to be held in contempt of court
- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions
- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions from abroad
- First president disbarred from the US Supreme Court and a state court
if you think thats good, i fear you have much more serious issues than the clintons.

Which lies? "I did not have sexual relations with that woman..."

Funny, THOSE lies didn't affect anyone except for him, Monica and his family.

The lies that have been peddled to us at a breathtaking rate since then actually affect and cost lives.

Did Americans get real jobs in those times? Were we really at peace? Yes and yes.

Maybe you wish it wasn't true, righties seems to cling to magical thinking (just look at how many think that Faux News is accurate news), but I'm sorry to tell you that wishing for something doesn't change reality.

The 90s were outstanding. The 90s era brought PCs and the net into virtually every home in the country. Small businesses sprouted like weeds. Home based businesses grew exponentially due to the net.
