The 'nationality' of a coporoation is no reason to support it, in the first place.

It doesn't matter where a corporation is incorporated, or where it has some of it's operations, either - the stockholders could still be foreign - or American. For instance, if you want to 'support' an American company & American workers, you might buy a Ford instead of a Toyota. But, surpise, the Toyota was assebled in California, while the Ford was assembled in Mexico.

Any corporation of reasonable size is global, or it's doomed. Fact of economics in the 21st century. Nothing you can do about it.

The bottom line is products made outside the US can be sold to us much cheaper. The average American will not research the manufacturers of various products to find out whether it was made in Birmingham or Beijing. For this reason, the vast majority will not search out and then pay substantially more for products made here. If it is uneconomical not to patronize corporations that have moved outside the US then all the rational and patriotism in the world will make no difference.
