I think Ray Ray is the best shooter too, yea Kobe's good, Gilbert is inconsistent, and Dirk's got a shoot for a big man, but come one look at Ray's form its flawless, elbow always tucked, squared up, he is the best pure shooter in the NBA

I'm going to have to say Steve Nash. His style is so unorthodox, but he is able to shoot 50,40,90. That's a very exclusive club that only Dirk Nowitzki, Larry Bird, and Mark Price can make claim to. When he would go up against even the stingiest defenses in the playoffs(where it counts), he's still able to maintain that average.
1. Steve Nash
2. Dirk Nowitzki(hits 50,40,90, so what if he's not clutch, if I recall points are just as important in the beginning as they are in the end.)
2. Ray Allen(The future most 3 pt. fg made)
4. Michael Redd(Allen's understudy, posts identical #'s)
5. Kevin Martin(another man with a unorthodox style, but he can shoot)

Best pure shooter (one that rarely attacks the rim) - Ray Allen or Michael Redd. Im leaning towards Allen to have the better stroke, but Redd to have better offensive production.
Best in-yo-face shooter - No doubt Kobe Bryant. 1-on-1 I dont think he's stoppable at all.
That's it I think. Best freethrow shooter goes to my man Steve Nash of course.

Kobe Bryant - Noone sees his pure release. He has such a beautiful release. Watch his youtube videos. You will be shocked. This man day in and day out does great, gives it his all and people hate him because of that. That just shows his skill. (Personal life should be thrown to the side and "Shaq" should be thrown to the side because this was in the GM's decision not their's... we are talking basketball)... pure shooter, and all around player goes to him. Defense he is a monster and can shut down opponent's best players. I don't think I need to say anything about his offense because that is self-explanatory.

I'd have to say it's Jayson Williams, the former Nets star. Even when he was drunk and using only arm, he managed to shoot and kill Costas Christofi in his home.
If you're talking about shooting the ball, then I think your choice of Ray Allen is a good one. Great range and a smooth stroke, and he doesn't even need to set before his shot.

From the 90s, while Reggie Miller step back of the paint & shot 3 factors to tide the interest against the Knicks in the Playoffs. don't have one. yet from the 2000s, D.Fisher buzzer beater against the Spurs 2004 Playoffs.

i really really hate Kobe Briant but he is the best shooter in the league. I think he is a ball hog but if you neeed a shot to drop he will get it done. That is probably why i hate him, but he is really good. he dropped 78 last year or was it more than that. the man is sick. Ray allen, hes ok, he might shine his true colors this year with 2 other awesome players on his team. they cant double team him this year like they did last year. i mean they could but KG will be there for the easy basket.
