The Braves not only need a centerfielder, but also pitching. I do not think that Hunter is affordable to them and they really only need a fill-in there, as Brandon Jones (no relation to Andruw) will be major league ready in a year or so. I see them signing hometown guy Mike Cameron, even though he will be suspended for the first 25 games. As far as pitching goes, Tom Glavine will probably go back to Atlanta as the #3 starter the Braves need. I think the team will keep it's relievers and hope Mike Gonzales can return and do the job, if not they can make a deal after spring training.

The Atlanta Braves will no signed any big free agents this off season because the brave are cutting payroll each year and they will probably do the same this year.
They already traded E. Renteria to the Tigers and they will no Resigned A. Jone, their goal is to cut payroll and hopefully have more young talented player from the minors making the team next year and getting better without over spending money for overpaid free agents.

I believe Torri Hunter will be too expensive for the Braves to sign.

I deffinatly think that they have a shot at signing Glavin, which, I believe, will really help the starting rotation. As for a center fielder. . Who knows, maybe Atlanta will sign Rowland from Philly and A. Jones will go to Philly wouldn't that just be a trade.
But seriously, Glavin is a strong possiblity to sign and I agree with the person that said it above. They need to make a deal to keep Tex around because they will regret it if they don't.

Everyone is talking hitting. The breves biggest weakness last season was starting pitching. Even losing Andruw Jones, they can hit fine. If they get Glavine, which is a legitimate possibility, then I think they will have a good season next year. Definitely playoff contenders, making the NL East again the most exciting division in baseball.

The Braves are too cheap to sign anyone. I could see them geting maybe Mike Cameron to play center, but that's about it.
