I go to spend a dollar and end up with so many things. Does this happen to you?

I usually go in with a list of 3-5 things.
I walk out $25 poorer. With some good sh!t!! :)
For people over 40: READING GLASSES!!!!!!!!99cents, worth $29.99!!
That gave me an idea, I'm gonna ask right now: What's the best buy at the 99cent store? :)

The last trip I spent $13 and I got a table cloth, napkins, 2 sets marbles, 3 hanging vases, 2 packs of incense, and some other stuff I don't remember.
As with most stores I don't get a cart unless I absolutely have to. That way I don't buy more than I can carry. I always try to only get what I went for but that never happens.

I just got back from the Dollar store and all I was going to get was some batteries but I ended up with ten other things, go figure

first of all i have self assurance sorry for you that you would possibly want to keep at a commissary. Commissaries and PX's suck like no longer something i have ever considered suck before. the most i have ever spent at a food market is about $2 hundred bux. i do not use coupons as a lot as I might want to yet with the commercial equipment how that's i imagine i will commence.

Nothing, because that's where all the rejects are, seriously. I bought clothes (a shirt) once (that was stupid), one sleeve was longer than the other, then the neck hole was so tight I could have worn it on my head. I've bought toys there for my son to find out they were full of lead paint, and their cleaning supplies, like windex are just colored water. I don't by a thing from there any more.

Usually under $10 but there are a lot of bargains there....greeting cards (nice ones) two for $1 better than $3 or $4 each...

once i went on a shopping spree in the dollar store. i brought 6 dollars, came out with 11 things.

I go in there to buy a three liter bottle of soda, I fill up a basket with stuff and I usually forget about the soda until I get to the check out.
