I haven't meet one that doens't start second families behind their families backs. Lie, Cheat, disrespect, dishonor and lie some more. Destroy reputations etc... and I'm not just talking about my expereinces but about 30 other women and I have seen some real horror stories from other women I don't know! They are total insane shits....

People want to put firemen on a pedestal because they are civil servants but the truth is that most people do not get into that profession to help people and to do good. They become firemen because it pays well and you get a lot of time off, honestly they are just a scummy as everyone else.

thats funny that you say that, my stepdad, who is a cop, and i were having this conversation the otherday.
We were discussing how society sees firemen as heroes and cops as dishonest, when really you never know who's dishonest or corrupt. It doesnt matter what dept they are in....people only let you see what they want you to see, you dont see what they do behind closed doors.
People shouldnt say that firemen are angels and that cops are bad...because although there is alot of speculation on cops being corrupt, who's to say that there isnt any corrupt firemen out there that have gotten away with murder.
The reason they say police are the bad guys...is because they have the power to arrest you and have more power than firemen. But it doesnt mean firemen are not dishonest.

I have no idea what you are referring to. However, I recognize the fact that you have taken a group of people, and are calling them ALL dishonest. Tell me, whatever job you walk at, do you think that every single one of the people around you are Honest? Why be so judge mental about a whole group. In all groups, organized religion included there a many, many dishonest people. The job that these firemen did in Los Angeles, and I am talking about groups of them, not individuals, make a bad situation a little less devastating than it could have been.
By the way, do you belong to an organized religion?

I've only known one and he is a very kind spirited person whom I was told by him that there are some bad seeds running rampant in the fire department. Also since I don't know everyone on the planet, how could I possibly give you my honest opinion. Please get a grip.

I dont know about dishonest but the hand full of firefighters that I have known have all had really wierd personalities. But then again that isnt fair to judge all of them im sure there is 1 or 2 that are normal.

For the most part, no. But then again, I could think up of a lot ways that could lead me to believe that. But I could do that for virtually anybody I know in any profession.

I am sorry for your bad experience with a certain fire department, but stereotypes are usually not useful. Firefighters provide a vital public service, so don't take them for granted.
