There's no heaven or hell. All there is is the world you leave behind. The only question is whether Paul Tibbets left behind a world that is better off than it would be had the bomb not been dropped.

Nah, but the devil himself has a reserved seat for you.

There is a special place for those that spit on the service of those that have sacraficed for this country.

Do you think that tibbets ever slept a full night following that day? Do you think he could carry out an order like that and not think about the results every single day of the rest of his life?

The answer is no. But unlike people like you, tibbets had the stones to do what needed to be done for the security and survival of his country as an American fighting man instead of whussing out.

I salute you Tibbets, you are a fine example of a dedicated Soldier.

Yes Paul Tibbets is burning in hell. I'm surprised the Japanese did not bring charges against him in the International Court Of Law.
Maybe before he gets there he'll meet the souls of all those people he killed. Then, he can tell them that he was proud that he did the right thing, in killing them in a such a humane way.

Actually he wasn't.

Try some of these folks first:

Hitler
Pol Pot
Saddam Hussein
Stalin

Just to name a few.

His dropping of one of the 2 atomic bombs shortened the war by years and saved millions of lives that would have been killed on BOTH sides if the US and the allies invaded Japan. President Truman gave the order to drop the bomb and Tibbets did what he was ordered to do, so ANY fault lies with Truman NOT Tibbets. Please remember any officer usually ONLY performs those actions that he has been ordered to do.

Thank you, Paul Tibbets, for ending the war and saving thousands of American lives. Although bastard liberals born years later hate you, most of us know you are a hero. Thank you, and may your critics burn in hell.

of direction no longer all Christians are gleeful, yet i'm particular some are. nonetheless i'll assert that God would not look to decide to wreck Hell any time quickly. and you do no longer look to have a situation worshiping a God like that. i detect that only as irritating.

Well, he did save the lives of hundreds of thousands of people. Had the A-bombs not been dropped an invasion would have happened. That would have resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people both allied and Japanese. The Japanese casualties would have included many women and children. Japan was preparing for the invasion and was expecting all of its people to give their lives to make the island of Japan a very costly invasion.

shame on u for saying that about a very honorable man. if it wernt for paul tibbets the war would have lasted longer and more lives would have been taken if he and his men didnt risk their lives for that mission. the lives the bomb took ended the war once and for all. and like i said if it wernt for that then more ppl would of lost thier lives. besides japan started it. they never shouldve betrayed us and bombed pearl harbor in the first place.
