I'd like a consultation because you wanna know what make up would suit you. I buy Chanel / Max Factor cosmetics and they are good, but every time I ask Avon to call the one they keep putting to me wants to visit when convenient for her. Fair enough, but I just want to get it sorted. Are MAC Cosmetics any good in the actual store, or should I just ask the girls on teh Chanel desk? This is to help me look more feminine when I go our dressed as a woman, so you know, cheap make up or poor advice won't cut it !!

I like to actually visit their counter because the consultant know their stuff. I like MAC, Estee Lauder, Chanel, or Lancome... i use them all when it comes to color... but I like MAC when it comes to lipglosses...... You also have Mary Kay cosmetics, or even Jafra that have consultants like Avon, you can try them too!!!!

In an individual situation, yes, if someone is dumb enough to buy a lemon for that much, it's more their fault than the sellers fault. They could just go buy a lemon for much less somewhere else. However, in most places I believe there are laws about how much they can charge for products in stores and whatnot. If all lemons suddenly cost a hundred bucks for no reason, it would not be OK.

Hi if you really want avon then go online or, try and get another rep that will be more convienient, or if you have your reps number then ring her, you are her customer and if she doesnt know what you want when she drops the book and comes back for the book then she wont know what your wanting to know.

Plus for one thing it wont be the time thats convienent for her as if she works as well as does avon it all depends on the times she has free and the time her custmers are avaiable to give the books back to her and to drop there orders off.

I am an avon rep and its not as easys as it looks, but I am always there for the customers if they need me as they have my number so they can contact me for any reason,
but sometimes customers dont even ask questions and are not intereseted in products they just give me the book and shut the door or pay for there order and shut the door. So I havent a clue as they dont have time for me, this maybe whats happening with your rep. Or she might live far away and trys and get things done as to not keep going backwards and forwards as even though she is earning some money it isnt alot.

If you thinking of getting mac or chanel then its far more expenisive that avon, your looking around 16 quid for a mascara. and of course if you paying this price the consulatant will be more that happy to help as for one thing they just say you look good in it as you think they give proffesional advice when they dont.

What is it you want to know, ask your avon lady to bring round or get you some samples. and then you try them and see if there good for you. they are free.

It all depends on what you want to know.
if you have an avon book then they have personal match foundations that match to your skin tone, make up that last all day over 12 hour wear make up. different eyeshadows for different occasions why not kill 2 birds with one stone and get make up that can go from morning to night.

If you lived near me I would let you try every make up I have from avon, but it all depends on what suits you, the brochure nowadays you can judge for yourself what suits you as there are tips in the avon book that tell you, so you dont really need a fony consultant of an expensive make up stall to fool you into buying rubbish with a name on
