Which one is larger our galaxy or the galaxy in star wars series ?

Our galaxy, The Milky way is a super-giant galaxy and the second largest in our local group. Only the Andromeda galaxy is larger. Yeah, we are way bigger than that piddly little galaxy far-far away and a long time ago.
By the way, our galaxy is going to crash into and merge with the Andromeda galaxy in a few hunderd million years. It is possible when these two super giants merge, we will be in the largest galaxy in the visible universe.

our galaxy is much larger, because in "empire strikes back" when the Millennium Falcon disappears from their scanners
one of the super star destroyers commanders said to Darth Vader "if they did make the jump to light speed the could be half way across the galaxy by now" of course an exaggeration, but probably not so big
in our galaxy it takes 5 years to get to the nearest star when traveling at light speed.

The milky way is pretty freakin huge... billions of stars and planetary systems.
The star wars galaxy on the other hand only seemed to consist of a couple hundred planets.
I'd go with the former.

I think equal.
because the star wars galaxy is as big as ours, only they know more planets in it, and have been to more, but of course they also have a lot of blank edges of the map.

Star Wars is intergalactic, isn't it? I always thought so. Anyway, SW is waaay cooler than our boring galaxy...
