I know, this question is as stupid as the ones suggesting that every conservative that supports the war should be in Iraq. No need to point it out.

captain obvious: I'd imagine that conservatives get in line for their social security payment because the government has stolen their money throughout the workers life and shoved it into this program against that persons will..promising it would be there for them when they hit 65. Gee, that was obvious.

I'm for eliminating the tax exempt status category altogether. There is no good reason at all for religious, political, artistic, etc groups to be separately tax exempt beyond the rules that apply to any other voluntary organization.

I've often wondered exactly that.

When I ask my very well-off friends in Berkeley and San Francisco why, if they think taxes are too low, they don't just cut a check out of petty cash to the US Treasury and, don'tcha just know it, they look at me like I have five heads.

What? Interrupt that high-end lifestyle by sending money off to an institution where they KNOW it'll get p*ssed away faster than a snowball melts in July?

Those libs are not STUPID! Just very, very logically inconsistent.

looks like captain obvious got eaten by the thought police.

the fact of the matter is, your question is referring to an imaginary demographic, when both sides of this so called fence you are trying to build are guilty of this wanna be hate you are trying to direct.

give it a rest. especially if you are going to report dissenting voices. your definition of american makes me sick to the stomach.

It's stupid but it doesn't resemble.

You see now Sways does resemble better but the problem is that if people do everything possible not to pay when forced what makes anyone think charities will be flooded with money when they are not forced. Is like assuming people will obey the law without police.

I would have to guess the same reason they preach to us about using oil while they fly around the globe in their private jets. They think they are royalty, but are big hypocrites.

Yes that way they could directly fund the programs they wanted. At this point I'd fund the military and that is about it.

Liberals want the government to run everything. Liberals want to run the government. They want control of all of your money.

If you like drinking water, why don't you live at the bottom of the ocean?

If you like to heat your home, why don't you set it on fire?

If you like to ... need I go on any further?
